In my thesis film FREE SNAKES, I experimented with backlighting animation I had done with markers.  During a residency at Byrdcliffe Arts Colony, I tested a similar method with watercolor.  Above are examples of both I really enjoy!  The light tends to exaggerate the texture of the paper and medium which I really like. Morbs, below, is the original test film of this process
